If you struggle with tooth sensitivity, you know how uncomfortable certain foods, drinks, or even brushing can be. Whether your sensitivity comes from acid erosion, gum recession, post-whitening tenderness, or temporary cold sensitivity after dental work (fillings, crowns, veneers), MI Paste Plus is a clinically supported way to find relief.
MI Paste Plus is a desensitizing topical tooth cream that contains RECALDENT (CPP-ACP) — a milk-derived complex of casein phosphopeptides and amorphous calcium phosphate that releases bioavailable calcium and phosphate to the tooth surface — plus 0.2% fluoride for extra anti-cavity protection. Together these help strengthen and protect enamel, reduce sensitivity, and support overall oral health.
You apply MI Paste Plus yourself at home, and it can be used several times per day. Apply a pea-sized amount to clean teeth (after brushing with toothpaste), leave it on for about three minutes, then spit out without rinsing. The most effective time is at night before bed, with no eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes afterward so the paste can fully absorb.
Beyond sensitivity relief, MI Paste Plus helps prevent cavities by promoting remineralization of tooth enamel — supporting repair of early demineralization and improving enamel resilience.
Available in Vanilla, Strawberry, Tutti-Frutti, and Mint flavors.
Note: this product contains milk-derived ingredients and is not suitable for anyone with a milk-protein allergy.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does MI Paste Plus do?
MI Paste Plus delivers calcium, phosphate, and 0.2% fluoride directly to tooth enamel. It is used for white spot reversal (especially after braces), tooth sensitivity from a range of causes — acid erosion, gum recession, after whitening, or temporary cold sensitivity after dental work like fillings, crowns, or veneers — and post-bleaching enamel recovery, as well as in patients with high cavity risk.
MI Paste vs MI Paste Plus — which to choose?
MI Paste contains CPP-ACP only (no fluoride) — used for children under 6 or anyone wanting fluoride-free remineralization. MI Paste Plus adds 0.2% fluoride for stronger anti-cavity protection — recommended for adults and children over 6.
Curodont vs MI Paste — which works better for white spots?
Curodont uses a self-assembling peptide that infiltrates the lesion and forms a scaffold for remineralization — typically a single application. Curodont is a professional product we offer in our San Francisco office. MI Paste is something you apply yourself at home each day for several weeks to a few months. Curodont works faster; MI Paste is the daily-home-care complement.
