Philips Zoom DayWhite 14% Hydrogen Peroxide is a professional take-home whitening gel used with custom dental trays. It contains 14% hydrogen peroxide and amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP), which works to brighten the smile while supporting enamel during the whitening process.
DayWhite is designed for shorter daytime wear — typically around 30 minutes per session. Custom-fitted trays from your dentist are required for safe, even gel contact with the teeth.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often can I use DayWhite?
Whitening gels — including DayWhite — should be used at most once per day, for up to 2 weeks at a time. Stop immediately at any sign of sensitivity. Continuing to whiten through pain or sensitivity can prolong the discomfort and is not recommended — pause use and consult Dr. Saeidi if symptoms persist.
DayWhite 14% vs NiteWhite — which should I use?
The two products use different chemistries: DayWhite uses hydrogen peroxide, NiteWhite uses carbamide peroxide. They serve different purposes:
- NiteWhite (carbamide peroxide) is generally better for sensitive teeth — it penetrates more slowly and deeply during longer overnight wear.
- DayWhite (hydrogen peroxide) works faster on the surface during shorter daytime sessions but tends to be more sensitivity-inducing.
It is incorrect to call either one "more efficient" — they are different chemistries with different best uses. Your dentist can advise on the right fit for your teeth.
How long until I see results?
Visible whitening commonly appears within the first 1–2 weeks of once-daily use, but results depend heavily on individual tooth response and sensitivity tolerance. Stop if sensitivity develops, and never exceed 2 weeks of continuous daily use without a break.
