Aquoral is a prescription-strength dry mouth spray that delivers long-lasting moisturizing relief through a lipid-based formula. Unlike water-based oral rinses that wash away within minutes, Aquoral's Oxidized Glycerol Triester (OGT) layer coats the soft tissue and sustains comfort for 4–6 hours per application — making it well-suited for overnight use when water-based sprays dry up quickly.
The OGT lipid layer is produced through a controlled oxidation of corn oil — a patented technology exclusive to Aquoral. Because it is lipid-based rather than water-based, the formula stays on the soft tissue longer than typical water-based mouth sprays, building comfort with continued use (similar to how lotion improves skin over time). The flavor is mild and palatable.
How to use
Each order contains two 10 mL spray canisters. Shake gently before use. Apply one dose (2 sprays) into the mouth 3 to 4 times per day, and spread the product onto inflamed or dry areas of the mouth with the tongue. The pump may need priming for first use. Together, the two bottles can last up to 6 months depending on frequency of use.
By moistening the mouth, Aquoral helps with chewing, swallowing, and speaking. The small portable canister can be carried and applied anywhere — ideal for travel or use throughout the day.
Safety
Read the package insert carefully before use. Avoid contact with eyes; flush with water if accidental eye contact occurs. Do not use Aquoral if you have a known allergy to any of its ingredients (oxidized glycerol triesters, silicon dioxide, aspartame, artificial flavoring).

Frequently Asked Questions
Aquoral vs SalivaMAX — which works better for me?
Both are prescription oral comfort products that work through different mechanisms. SalivaMAX is a supersaturated calcium phosphate rinse — when swished thoroughly, it coats the tooth surfaces with bioavailable minerals. Aquoral is a lipid-based spray that coats the soft tissue with a longer-lasting moisturizing layer. They can also be used together: a common combined regimen is SalivaMAX first to coat the teeth, then Aquoral to lock in long-lasting moisture on the soft tissue.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes — Aquoral is FDA-classified as a prescription oral spray. Soothing Dental's team can review your eligibility through a brief telehealth screen — a complimentary Rx review is included with your order.
How long does one bottle last?
Each order contains two 10 mL spray bottles. At a typical 6–8 sprays per day, the two-bottle pack lasts approximately six months.
