PerioRestore Oral Cleansing Gel for Tray-Delivered Gum Care

PerioRestore is a tray-delivered oral cleansing gel formulated with 1.7% hydrogen peroxide. It is designed for use as part of a long-term gum-care maintenance routine, applied with a custom tray made by your dentist.

The hydrogen peroxide acts as an antiseptic that reduces bacterial load at and below the gum line where the gel is held in place by a custom tray. Some patients also notice mild whitening of the teeth with continued use.

Instructions for use

PerioRestore must be applied via a custom tray that fits snugly over the teeth and holds the gel against the gum margins. Wear time depends on the condition being managed:

• During intensive use: up to 4 applications per day, 10–15 minutes each. Multiple applications per day are recommended while gums are inflamed.
• For ongoing maintenance once gum health stabilizes: 1–2 applications per day, 10 minutes each.

Daily applications can be reduced as the condition of the gum tissue improves. Use is at any time of day that fits the patient's schedule.

Each customized tray is designed to fit your teeth exactly, with reservoirs that hold the gel against the gumline and between the teeth where bacteria accumulate.
